There are a number of trails in North Dumfries that are owned and maintained by the Grand River Conservation Authority. Users are welcome to check out the Grand River Conservation Authority website for maps information and trail use permissions or contact by telephone 519-621-2761.

Explore the largest watershed in Southern Ontario. Through the Grand Watershed Trails Network discover farmlands, villages, woodlots, flora, fauna, and wildlife.
These trails are maintained by the Region of Waterloo (519-575-4501)
Please respect other trail users as well as private landowners for their kind consent by abiding to the following:
- Only park in designated areas
- Stay on marked routes; do not leave trail
- Hunting is not allowed on or near the trail
- Dogs must remain on a leash at all times and please remember to stoop & scoop.
- Motorized vehicles are not allowed unless otherwise posted
- Leave plants, flowers and trees for others to enjoy
- Stay to the right of the trail and allow others to pass to your left
- Cyclists must ting bell when passing pedestrians from either direction
- Garbage in, garbage out
