The Public Works Department is responsible for servicing the Township's roads, sidewalks, street lighting, traffic control, water and sewers.
Our duties include:
- Regular maintenance to our roads such as asphalt repair, paving and line painting.
- Clearing roads during a weather emergency such as a flood, snow or landslide.
- Keeping street signs current and all traffic signals functioning.
The Public Works department employs 6 employees who report to the Director of Public Works, Mark Smuck. They work Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m and operate 6 plow trucks, a Loader, and a Mower Tractor. The Public Works Department is responsible for 175 two-lane roads.
The Public Works department is available for after hour calls and will respond if required.
